Phil Smith, Chairman
Phil Smith is the Charlotte Wine & Food Weekend board chairman for the 2017-2019 season of fundraising. Mr. Smith is an executive vice president and group head of Government and Institutional Banking at Wells Fargo.
In addition to his role at Charlotte Wine & Food Weekend, Mr. Smith also serves on the University of Alabama Culverhouse College of Commerce Board of Visitors, a member of the board of directors for the Spoleto Festival U.S.A., a co-chair on the Boy Scouts Sporting Clay committee and an active member in American Corporate Partners (ACP), a program that connect U.S. veterans to business leaders through mentorships and career advice.

Dockery Clark is the Executive Director of Charlotte Wine & Food Weekend. Clark manages the operations, marketing and execution of the event and charity.
Clark is a longtime resident of Charlotte and spent 11 years as the Global Sponsorship Executive of Bank of America. She served in a similar capacity with MillerCoors in Chicago before returning to Charlotte to become the Chief of Staff for Charlotte in 2012 Democratic National Convention. She has experience activating big events like the Olympics and the Super Bowl. In addition, her non-profit work has included developing cause-related marketing and event strategies for The V Foundation.
Foster W. O'Brien
Foster O'Brien is the Marketing Manager of Charlotte Wine & Food Weekend. Foster manages the development, distribution, and maintenance of all CWFW digital and print media.
Foster is a native Charlottean whose multifaceted marketing background includes a tenure at LendingTree, Red Moon Marketing and her own marketing consulting firm, O'Brien Creative. She holds a single-digit USGA handicap, loves to cook and her North Carolina State University Wolfpack.
