Restaurant Constance Featuring Vintus Wines | April 27, 2025
Charlotte Wine + Food Week presented by Truist held a special closing dinner celebration where we transported palates to France! We bid an “Au Revoir” to our week-long fundraising experience as guests enjoyed dishes perfectly crafted by Chef Sam Diminich, Owner of Restaurant Constance. The menu paired perfectly with a selection of stunning French wines courtesy of Vintus Wines.
The special guest was Christophe Courteaud | Mid-Atlantic Division Manager at Vintus Wines.
Thanks to the hosts for the evening, Charlotte Wine + Food Board Member Jim Deupree along with Charlotte Wine + Food’s Executive Director, Lauren Deese.
Featured wines included: 2024 Roseblood d’Estoublon Rosé | Provence, 2022 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis | Chablis, 2022 Château De La Chaize Brouilly | Beaujolais, 2020 E. Guigal Saint-Joseph Rouge | Northern Rhône, 2019 Château De Nalys Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge | Southern Rhône, 2018 Domaine des Baumard Quarts de Chaume | Loire Valley.
A brief live auction was held at the end of dinner featuring: A Tour de France - A Somm-led French Wine Tasting Experience for Six (6) courtesy of Vince Hindman and Sommelier Edward Kuehnle. Through the generosity of all present, the auction raised $2,400!
All proceeds benefited A Child’s Place - a program of Thompson, Augustine Literacy Project, Digi-Bridge, and Wayfinders.
