8th Annual Bank of America Winter Warm-Up

Charlotte Wine + Food (CW+F) raised over $130,000 at the 8th Annual Bank of America Winter Warm-Up ft. Shafer Vineyards held at the Bank of America Corporate Center on Thursday, January 29, 2026. 80 guests started the evening at a cocktail reception followed by a four-course wine-pairing dinner created by Executive Chef Tom Condron from Bank of America Executive Dining Room as we proudly hosted the star guest of the evening, Chris Avery, CEO of Napa Valley icon - Shafer Vineyards.

The night wrapped up with our coveted live auction including a mix of exclusive wine lots and experiences including several library wines and large formats, a private suite at the Charlotte Hornets vs. Atlanta Hawks game, and a VIP trip to Napa Valley curated by Shafer Vineyards. With the support of all our generous donors, and some surprise double lots courtesy of Shafer, the auction alone raised over $70,000 for our beneficiaries.

Featured wines included: 2023 Shafer Vineyards Merlot, 2024 Shafer Vineyards Red Shoulder Ranch Chardonnay, 2022 Shafer Vineyards Relentless Syrah, 2023 Shafer Vineyards One Point Five Cabernet Sauvignon, 2021 Shafer Vineyards Hillside Select Cabernet Sauvignon (100 points!), 2018 Shafer Vineyards Hillside Select Cabernet Sauvignon (100 points!), and 2019 Shafer Vineyards Firebreak.
