Charity Check Presentation Celebration

We wrapped up Charlotte Wine + Food's 38th year of fundraising by distributing $480,000 to four Charlotte-area children's charities including Beds for Kids, Digi-Bridge, Families Forward Charlotte, and Wayfinders at a Check Presentation Celebration. Collectively these incredible organizations promote upward mobility in Charlotte through an array of services and serve over 2,500 children in our community!

On behalf of Charlotte Wine + Food and our charitable beneficiaries, thank you to all of our supporters who made this possible - sponsors, restaurants and caterers, vintners, distributors, retailers, auction donors and bidders, board, staff, volunteers, and event attendees!

Special thanks to The Drum Dilworth for hosting and to Bruce & Leslie Schlernitzauer of Porcupine Provisions for helping bring our Fried Chicken and Champagne theme to life with exceptional Fried Chicken and sides paired with a taste of caviar courtesy of Black Crown Caviar.

A short awards presentation was held at the celebration. Congratulations to our fiscal 2026 award winners:
The Bob Redd Award for outstanding industry supporter went to Andres Kaifer & Customshop Team.
The Chairman's Award for outstanding board supporter went to CW+F Board Member Jim Tietjen.
