Vintner Dinner at Customshop
featuring Famille Perrin & Château Beaucastel | April 24, 2025

Charlotte Wine + Food Week presented by Truist held a restaurant vintner dinner at Customshop with a multi-course dinner prepared by the talented Executive Chef Andres Kaifer featuring wines from one of the Rhône Valley’s most iconic producers - Famille Perrin - including selections from the renowned and historic Château de Beaucastel. Leading the dinner was Jennafer Tuffner, Sales Manager of NC & SC for Vineyard Brands.This dinner was curated in partnership with Tim Wallace of the Wine Vault.

Thanks to the Charlotte Wine + Food Board Member hosts for the evening, Bonnie Kelly and Max Krumdieck.

Featured wines included: 2023 Famille Perrin Côtes du Rhône Reserve Rosé, 2024 Famille Perrin Côtes du Rhône Reserve Blanc, 2020 Famille Perrin Vinsobres Les Cornuds, 2021 Famille Perrin Gigondas La Gille, 2021 Château de Beaucastel Côtes du Rhône Rouge Coudoulet, & 2021 Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

A brief live auction was held at the end of dinner including: two Customshop In-Home Dinner for Eight (8) with Chef Andrea Kaifer of Customshop plus curated wine pairings by Tim Wallace of The Wine Vault, and a 750 mL bottle of Château de Beaucastel’s 2001 Hommage à Jacques Perrin. Through the generosity of all present, the auction raised 11,500!

All proceeds benefited A Child’s Place - a program of Thompson, Augustine Literacy Project, Digi-Bridge, and Wayfinders.
