Vintner Dinner at Forest Kitchen Design
featuring Anomaly Vineyards, Compris Vineyard,
Edwin’s Organix and Open Plan Kitchen

Charlotte Wine + Food Week presented by Truist held a vintner dinner at Forest Kitchen Design featuring the wines of Anomaly Vineyards and Compris Vineyard. The special guests of the evening included Dru & Erin Allen, Proprietors of Compris Vineyard and Jaime Orozco, Director of Sales and Marketing of Anomaly Vineyards. These boutique wines were paired with a menu crafted by Chef Edwin Cruz of Edwin’s Organix and Open Plan Kitchen.

The Charlotte Wine + Food Board Member host for the evening was Paul Miller.

Featured wines included: 2021 Compris Supernova Blanc de Blanc, 2024 Compris Divided Light White Pinot Noir, 2023 Compris Given to Fly Reserve Pinot Noir, 2023 Anomaly Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, 2019 Anomaly Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2021 Compris Supernova Blanc de Blanc.

A brief live auction was held at the end of dinner including: One (1) 750 mL Bottle of 2017 Anomaly Cabernet Sauvignon and a in-home dinner for eight (8) with Chef Edwin Cruz of Edwin’s Organix. Through the generosity of our patrons, the auction raised $2,600!

All proceeds benefited Beds for Kids, Digi-Bridge, Families Forward Charlotte, and Wayfinders.
