Vintner Dinner at The Fig Tree

Charlotte Wine + Food Week presented by Truist held a restaurant vintner dinner at The Fig Tree Restaurant featuring the wines of Napa Valley’s historic Stags’ Leap Winery. The special guests of the evening included Ludovic Dervin, General Manager and Senior Winemaker of Stags’ Leap Winery and Caitlyn Gillette, Luxury Director, Mid-Atlantic of Treasury Wine Estate. These classic wines were paired with a menu crafted by Executive Chef Greg Zanitsch of The Fig Tree.

The Charlotte Wine & Food Board Member hosts for the evening were Craig Selimotic Danforth and TJ Leifheit.

Featured wines included: 2023 Stags' Leap Winery Sauvignon Blanc, 2023 Stags' Leap Winery Chardonnay, 2023 Stags' Leap Winery Merlot, 2022 Stags' Leap Winery Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, 2022 Stags' Leap Winery ‘The Leap’ Cabernet Sauvignon, 2021 Stags' Leap Winery Petite Sirah, and 2020 Stags' Leap Winery Investor Red.

A brief live auction was held at the end of dinner including: A Trip to Napa Valley for Six (6) to Six (6) Treasury Wine Estate Wineries and Two (2) 1.5L 2022 Stags’ Leap Winery Cabernet. Through the generosity of our patrons, the auction raised $8,150!

All proceeds benefited Beds for Kids, Digi-Bridge, Families Forward Charlotte, and Wayfinders.
