Vintner Dinner at Napa on Providence

Charlotte Wine + Food Week presented by Truist held a restaurant vintner dinner at Napa on Providence featuring the exceptional wines of Napa Valley’s Pahlmeyer and Jayson by Pahlmeyer. Special guest Charlie Lassor, Senior Business Development Manager of LUX Wines, took patrons on a journey exploring these iconic wines, expertly paired with a multi-course menu crafted by Chef Ben Winchester of Napa on Providence.
Thanks to the Charlotte Wine + Food Board Member hosts for the evening, David Secrest and Jeff Conway.
Featured wines included: 2023 Jayson Sauvignon Blanc, 2022 Pahlmeyer Chardonnay, 2021 Jayson Red Blend, 2021 Jayson Cabernet Sauvignon, & 2021 Pahlmeyer Proprietary Red Blend.
A brief live auction was held at the end of dinner including: an exclusive Pahlmeyer Tasting in Napa plus a 750 mL bottle of 2021 Pahlmeyer Proprietary Red Blend. Through the generosity of our patrons, the auction raised $3,000!
All proceeds benefited A Child’s Place - a program of Thompson, Augustine Literacy Project, Digi-Bridge, and Wayfinders.
