Vintner Dinner at Napa on Providence

Charlotte Wine + Food Week presented by Truist held a restaurant vintner dinner at Napa on Providence featuring the exceptional wines of Napa Valley’s Rombauer Vineyards. Special guest Dan Fehr, National Sales Manager of Rombauer Vineyards, guided patrons through a curated journey of these iconic wines. Each selection was thoughtfully paired with a multi-course menu inspired by The Joy of Cooking—authored by a family member of the winery’s founder, and expertly crafted by Chef Carlos Nevarez of Napa on Providence.

Thanks to the Charlotte Wine + Food Board Member hosts for the evening, Jeff Conway and Melissa Brannan.

Featured wines included: 2024 Rombauer Vineyards Sonoma Sauvignon Blanc, 2024 Rombauer Vineyards Carneros Chardonnay, 2023 Rombauer Vineyards Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir, 2022 Rombauer Vineyards Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, 2018 Rombauer Vineyards “Proprietor’s Selection” Cabernet Sauvignon, 2023 Rombauer Vineyards California Zinfandel.


A brief live auction was held at the end of dinner including: Wine & Bites Experience for Six (6) at Rombauer Vineyards alongside One (1) 3L Bottle of 2023 Carneros Chardonnay signed by Winemaker Richie Allen. Through the generosity of our patrons, the auction raised $1,300!

All proceeds benefited Beds for Kids, Digi-Bridge, Families Forward Charlotte, and Wayfinders.
