Vintner Dinner at Napa Bistro & Wine Bar - Stonecrest

Charlotte Wine & Food Week presented by Truist hosted an incredible vintner dinner at Napa Bistro & Wine Bar - Stonecrest in support of Charlotte-area children's charities. Guests experienced a multi-course wine pairing dinner featuring the renowned wines of Del Dotto Vineyards with special guest Desirée Del Dotto, Chief Operating Officer, Marketing Director, Co-Owner, and second generation vintner of Del Dotto Estate Winery & Caves. The dinner was specially curated by David Sears, Culinary Director of Conway Restaurant Group.

Thanks to the Charlotte Wine + Food Board Member hosts for the evening, Jeff Conway and Jim Tietjen.

Featured wines included: 2022 Piazza Del Dotto Rosé Sparkling , 2022 Del Dotto Estate Chardonnay, 2024 Piazza Del Dotto Sauvignon Blanc, 2019 Del Dotto Estate Pinot Noir, 2021 Piazza Del Dotto Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, 2019 Del Dotto St. Helena Mountain Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, & 2021 Del Dotto The Beast Cabernet Sauvignon.

A brief live auction was held at the end of dinner featuring: a three (3) bottle Vertical of Del Dotto St. Helena Mountain Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon provided by Jim Tietjen. Through the generosity of our patrons, the auction lot raised $1,500!

All proceeds benefited A Child’s Place - a program of Thompson, Augustine Literacy Project, Digi-Bridge, and Wayfinders.
