Tour de France with Authentique Vin and The Speckled Pear

Charlotte Wine + Food Week presented by Truist hosted an intimate dinner featuring the a Tour du France of wines from Authentique Vin with Tyler Morgan, Southeast Retail Sales Manager of Authentique Vin - T. Meunier Import Selections at La Cave at Petit Philippe’s flagship store in Myers Park. Longtime Charlotte Wine + Food Week partner and owner of The Speckled Pear, Chef Michael Bader, delighted guests with a carefully curated menu inspired by classic French cuisine to pair with the wine.

Thanks to the Charlotte Wine + Food Board Member host for the evening, Taylor Marino.

Featured wines included: Domaine Vincent Stoeffler Cremant d’Alsace, 2024 Firmin Dezat Sancerre, 2023 Domaine Sébastien Magnien Hautes Côtes de Beaune Blanc, 2023 Domaine Galévan Châteauneuf-du-Pape, 2022 Mas de Daumas Gassac Rouge, and 2017 Château Saint Vincent Sauternes.

A brief live auction was held at the end of dinner featuring: A Trio of . Through the generosity of our patrons, the auction raised $1,500!

All proceeds benefited Beds for Kids, Digi-Bridge, Families Forward Charlotte, and Wayfinders.
