Vintner Dinner with Porcupine Provisions

Charlotte Wine + Food Week presented by Truist held a vintner dinner generously hosted at the private residence of Bruce and Leslie Schlernitzauer, proprietors of Porcupine Provisions, with one of the leading portfolios of wine in the industry, The Spire Collection, featuring a premier selection of wines made by award-winning winemaker Chris Carpenter. The dinner will be led by special guest Christopher Gregus, Estate Host of Lokoya Winery.

Thanks to the Charlotte Wine + Food Board Member host for the evening, Will Whitley.

Featured wines included: Champagne Drappier Brut Rosé, 2022 La Jota Vineyard Co. W.S. Keyes Vineyard Chardonnay | Howell Mountain AVA, 2021 Caladan Cabernet Franc | Napa Valley, 2021 Lokoya Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon | Mount Veeder AVA, 2021 Cardinale Cabernet Sauvignon | Napa Valley, & 2015 Cardinale Cabernet Sauvignon | Napa Valley.

A brief live auction was held at the end of dinner, featuring: A Cellar Supper to Remember - an Evening with Pat & Debbie Phillips and Porcupine Provisions. Through the generosity of our patrons, the auction lot raised $12,000!

All proceeds benefited A Child’s Place - a program of Thompson, Augustine Literacy Project, Digi-Bridge, and Wayfinders.
